Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik formed his cabinet ministry yesterday. Nabarangpur district BJD MLA’s name has not been included in the new cabinet. As a result, the hopes of the people of the district have been flashed.
Dabugaon MLA Manohar Randhari was expected to be included in the first cabinet after the general election. Jharigaon MLA Shri Prakash Chandra Majhi, on the other hand, was also rumoured to be in the cabinet.
But Kotpad MLA and Manohar Randhari’s sister Padmini Dian was made Minister of Textiles and Handlooms. This time around, Dabugaon MLA Manohar Randhari was hoping to get a new ministerial post in the new cabinet, but it does not happen.
In the Nabarangpur district of South Odisha, the 3 MLAs belong to the BJD party and none of them has got a ministerial post. According to locals, atleast one MLA from Nabarangpur district of south Odisha was to be given a ministerial post.
In Nabarangpur district, MLA Manohar Randhari is always present in the joys and sorrows of the people. So, the people of the district felt sad about the absence of such a good MLA in the cabinet.
