Yesterday on this auspicious occasion, Ganesh Puja was celebrated with much prompt and joy in various places of the Indravati town under Tentulikhunti block of Nabarangpur district.
Lord Ganesha is now being worshipped in various mandaps after the covid crackdown for two consecutive years. As per reports, Lord Ganesha is being worshipped in about 20 mandaps in Indravati town this year.
Yesterday evening, the dam city was full of crowds at various places from Phataguda village to the Mausima Temple. As per tradition, the puja was celebrated. In all the educational institutions this day was celebrated with much joy.
Students got ready in the morning and joined their respective schools for the worship program. After that, they returned home holding the holy blessings from Lord Ganesha. In the evening, lots of gathering was seen in the SSVM, Khatiguda school and of course in the Indravati Project High School.










Some cultural events were also seen in some schools. In the remote Deopali school, students gathered and a dance program was held with the initiative of the school teacher Shri Jagadev Keshari Samanta. Villagers also present there to encourage the children and help in making it a success.
The entire Indravatii town starting from Lamataguda, Aunligumma, Phataguda, Khatiguda, Market complex, Mausima Temple Chowk, Barangapadar and Deopali has been decorated with different kinds of lights. As a result, the entire city looks stunning.
Police have been deployed in different zones to maintain the crowds. For the next five days, Gajanan is scheduled to be worshipped at different pooja mandaps in Indravati town and it has been observed that it has created a happy atmosphere among both the organizers and the devotees.
