Today a tragic news came to light. Senior tribal leader and former MP Pradeep Majhi had not got the Rajya Sabha MP ticket. As a result, residents of Nabarangpur district are frustrated.
According to reports, former MP Shri Pradeep Majhi stepped down from the Congress party and joined the BJD Party this year. After that, he has been appointed as senior general secretary of the BJD.
So it was hoped that this time Pradeep Majhi would get the Rajya Sabha PM seat. But the hope is ruined now. Similarly, after the end of N.Vashkar Rao’s tenure in the Rayagada district, it was widely believed that his post will be given to a leader of the undivided Koraput district.
But, today’s announcement has turned everyone’s hopes into disappointment. Even Mr Jaydev Parida of Umerkote, one of the experienced leaders in the Undivided Koraput district, has been disappointed & not gotten any ticket.
