As the summer heatwaves continue, the Odisha government has made changes in the school hours. On Saturday the Department of Schools and Mass Education said that from May 2, classes will be held in schools from 6 am to 9 am.

The Department of Schools & Mass Education has issued a directive in this regard. However, no changes were made during the examinations scheduled by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) and the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha.

The exams will be held as per the schedule, according to a letter from the Department of Schools and Mass Education. This means that the 10th and 12th class exams will be held as per the previous schedule.

The state government has closed all schools from the 26th to the 30th of April month due to the strong summer heatwave. But now that temperatures are high in the state, parents and students are worried that the school will be reopened or closed.

But on Saturday, the Department of Schools & Mass Education announced that the school would be reopened and that changes would be made during school hours.
