By March 2022, TVS Motors will bring 2 new models to market, Bhubaneswar

“It’s going to be a game-changer for this category of bikes,” said UB Pandey, vice president (sales) of TVS Motor Company Ltd. The company has offered several new services to riders. Customers will definitely like all of this.

In addition, the company plans to launch 2 more new models in the current financial year. One of them will come as an upgraded model in the field of motorcycles and the other will come in the scooty category, said Mr Pandey.

In the case of e-vehicles (electric vehicles), TVS already exists. The company recently bought ‘E.GO’, a leading e-vehicle company in Europe. The company’s joint managing director last month announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore for the e-vehicle project.

The company has a state-of-the-art electric vehicle construction platform. So he is very optimistic that many new products will be launched in the coming days in the field of e-vehicles. The government recently announced a Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for the automotive industry. “It will be a great help to the automotive industry,” Sri Pandey said.

Odisha now has a 15% market share of TVS. The company is making efforts to increase it. TVS sells 1,00,000 scooters a month in the country, he said. So the company has no plans to give any cash gifts for the upcoming Durga Puja festival. Instead, the company is focusing on delivering better and more valuable products to its customers.
