Before the Chief Minister’s visit to Kalahandi, the BJD has shown its strength by holding a massive rally at Junagadh. BJD leader and party organizing secretary Pranab Prakash Das joined the function to strengthen the party’s position in Kalahandi and try to keep the image of Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra intact.
BJD’s bike parade, which started from Mathura (ମଥୁରା) and soon arrived in front of the city’s college, hundreds of BJP workers protested by throwing eggs. With the panchayat elections and the assassination of Mamita Meher, politics is in full swing.
In his speech, Minister Shri Dibya Shankar Mishra said people are spreading wrong information against me and if you have the courage, then prove it. I have always been concerned about the development of the region,” he further added.


Many senior leaders from the district and the state attended the amalgamation ceremony (ମିଶ୍ରଣ ପର୍ବ) in Junagarh (ଜୁନାଗଡ଼). Earlier, a huge bike procession from Mathura near Junagarh came to the venue.
Pranab Prakash Das, Rajya Sabha member Sujit Kumar, district president Puspendra Singh Deo, Dharmagarh MLA, youth president Aditya Nand, Lanjigarh MLA Pradeep Dishari were present at the amalgamation meeting, saying the BJD’s Naveen government is the only party that could rule Odisha.
The BJD will respond strongly, no matter how much the opposition shouts. Junagarh legislator revealed that the area has been developed by a talented figure like Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra. Hundreds of activists from different parties in Junagarh and Dharmagarh constituencies joined the BJD.
