Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrated in all over the Koraput district

Today, the Koraput district has become tricolor in the campaign of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. A marathon was conducted by the BSF while a grand procession was organized by the municipality.

A 75 feet long national flag was carried around the city of Koraput. On the occasion of 75 years of independence, the whole South Odisha district is observing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

For this, Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has called for the Har Ghar Tiranga Programme. In this context, Tiranga Yatra has been held in Jeypore, Boipariguda, Kundura, Laxmipur, Kotpad and Koraput blocks.

Similarly, all the schools, DAV Colleges and Lok Vikas Manch have grandly celebrated the occasion. On the other hand, a mini-marathon (10 km) was organized yesterday in Koraput by BSF (Border Security Force).

The marathon was flagged off by 65 Bn BSF Commandant TN Reddy and Koraput SP Varun Guntapalli. Commandant, Sector BSF Koraput and 151 Bn BSF Commandant Ajay Kumar attended the event.

Similarly, Prabhat Pheries was seen in the Boipariguda block observed by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. A lot of social workers, youths of the block, school children and many locals joined in the event.
