A difficult time is going on for the Congress Party in South Odisha districts. Yesterday approximately fifty congress workers from Dashmantpur panchayat under Boipariguda block of Koraput district have resigned from the party.
Yesterday all the congress party workers made the final decision at a meeting held at Dashmantapur Hatpada and after that, they submitted their resignation letters to the block congress president.
In their resignation letter, they stated that they had been working as party members for many years. Now they have resigned from the team for personal reasons. So they also expressed their gratitude to the team.
The Dashmantapur panchayat in the Baipariguda block has long been known as a stronghold of the Congress party. But in the previous year and so as the party workers lack support from the congress party which led to bitterness and dissatisfaction with the party.
Commenting on the resignation of all the party workers, Congress Block President Shri Gaurachandra Patra said that a meeting would be convened by all Congress workers to discuss the issue & it will be resolved soon.
