The number of corona cases in Odisha is now gradually decreasing. The average number of positive cases is below 300 for the last few days. Yesterday 289 cases were identified but in the last 24 hours, the number decreased to 257.
According to the latest reports, 257 positive cases were reported in the state. Among the positives, 151 were identified from the quarantine centres and 106 from local infections. Among these, 43 are children under the age of 18.
Today, all the positive cases were reported from 24 districts. The remaining six districts have not been diagnosed with any coronary disease. Today, the Sundargarh district has the highest number of 56 cases.
The Khordha district is in 2nd position with 34 positive cases. The information was provided by the state Department of Information and Public Relations. The state government also instructed the people to obey the corona guidelines.
As of now, 265 new recovery cases were reported. Similarly, in Odisha 13,26,929 positive cases were identified and of these 13,15,724 people were successfully recovered. There are still 1980 active cases, as per reports.
