The Indian government today banned 20 YouTube channels and 2 Websites, spreading Pakistan’s anti-India stance, starting with the Khalistani agenda. Anti-India YouTube channels have been banned in a joint effort by various intelligence agencies and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Links to some of these channels were directly in Pakistan. These channels were systematically spreading false news on various sensitive issues related to India and generally causing confusion, negativity and hatred.

These channels, especially creating videos in the case of Kashmir, the Indian Army, the minority community in India, the Ram Mandir, General Bipin Rawat, etc., which are divisive and misleading the public by presenting false information.

Some of the channels have more than 3.5 million subscribers, but only for anti-India campaigns. Some videos of an anti-India channel, which runs live from Pakistan, have been reported to have been viewed more than 55 crore times.

In the case of the peasant movement in India and the CAA, these channels were very active in trying to persuade the people against the government. These channels are constantly misleading to people on sensitive issues and now it will be banned is a big step, it is said that.
